REACH Substances of Very High Concern Conformance Delcation

REACH is the European Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals to protect health and the environment. Provisions were phased in over 11 years beginning in 2007, replacing former legislative framework for chemicals in the European Union (EU). Most companies across the EU are impacted by REACH as it applies to all chemical substances, from those used in industrial settings to the ones we come in contact with during day-to-day life. To comply with the regulation, companies must identify and manage risks associated with the substances they manufacture and market.

Importers, producers and suppliers of chemicals identified by REACH as a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) in the Candidate List have legal obligations to provide sufficient information to consumers to ensure safe use of the product.

DNP Imagingcomm America certifies that none of the substances listed in the ECHA Candidate List for inclusion in Annex XIV on January 15, 2018, are intentionally added during production or used in the manufacturing process of our thermal transfer ribbon products.

The SVHC list is dynamic and updated frequently. DNP monitors the status of the list as part of on-going compliance activities. Per requirements under Article 33 of REACH, DNP will inform product recipients and consumers if an article contains more than 0.1% by weight per article of any substance that is added to the Candidate List in the future.
