Compliance

National and international laws dictate that everything from UL labels to hazardous materials stickers contain important safety and identification information. In some cases, labels and their printing have to last the life of the product. Longevity, durability and readability are essential.

DNP Wax/Resin For USDA's Federal Seed Act Compliance

Labels are needed for every package of seed sold in the United States. Tracking vegetables, grasses, corn, soybean and other products is important for growing crops that are environmentally and economically sustainable. The USDA’s Federal Seed Act requires seed tags with information such as variety and kind, lot number, origin, and name and contact information for the seller. The legislation also ensures all of this information is truthful, giving seed buyers the ability to make informed choices.

When a prominent developer, grower, and marketer of fruit and vegetable seeds needed TTR for Zebra printers at their West Coast facility, DNP’s V200 Versatile Wax/Resin gave a single, durable solution for all three of their paper seed labels. These labels must be highly resistant to scratch and abrasion in order to remain legible during shipping and afterward throughout planting and harvesting. MP Mid provides extreme durability while also printing deep black barcodes and other variable information that is easily read, making it an exact match for the application.
