DNP Donates To Injured Officers

11/27/18

In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, DNP has donated $2,500 to the Injured Officers Fund of Pittsburgh's Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 1. This particular donation will be used to assist injured officers wounded or otherwise affected by the tragic events at the Tree of Life synagogue on Saturday, October 27.

The Fraternal Order of Police was founded to represent officers in Pittsburgh in 1915 and has grown to become a national organization with over 2,200 local lodges and more than 330,000 members. They are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those they serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation.
