25 Years of Operation

From one slitting machine in 1995, DNP has grown to be the largest manufacturer of thermal transfer ribbons in the world. As we celebrate 25 Years of Operation in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, we’re taking a look back at the history of our facility with the help of 14 employees who have been there since the very beginning. All of our 25-year employees agree that they have seen many changes and improvements in our facility, technology, and processes throughout the years.

Mactac® Partners with DNP to Enhance Portfolio of UL Approved Durable Films

Mactac® is partnering with DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation to enhance its existing portfolio of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) approved durable films with thermal transfer ribbons.

The partnership includes the addition of DNP’s new V300 thermal transfer ribbon to Mactac’s MH26726 UL file for printing materials in the United States (PGJI2) and Canada (PGJI8). The film-ribbon combination has been approved for label suitability and compliance with ANSI/UL 969 and CSA C22.2 No. 0.15 testing standards.
