DNP Redefines Resin With New Product That Is Versatility Defined™

04/09/19

DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation is pleased to introduce the new, highly-innovative V300 Versatility Defined™ Resin.

V300 defines versatility in ways the thermal transfer market has never before seen. Unlike other thermal transfer ribbons, this resin prints on substrates ranging from paper and polypropylene to PET. It images equally well on all types of laminates, varnishes, and top-coats.

Impressive as that may be, this product is also capable of producing crisp, dark images at both low and high print speeds. V300 has the potential to drastically increase the productivity of resin applications with the ability to print up to 50% faster than any other flat head resin.

What’s more, V300 can do all of this at reduced heat settings. This provides a prime solution for increasingly popular desktop printer models with smaller footprints, conserving energy and extending printhead service life.

This formulation provides superior mechanical durability (scratch and smudge), as well as resistance to alcohols like methanol and isopropanol (IPA).

With this range of drop-in capability, V300 is expected to eliminate time wasted adjusting printer settings and testing label compatibility. The resin performs regardless of top-coats, laminates, varnishes, or surface treatments, unlike anything the industry has experienced to date.

V300 Versatility Defined™ Resin will be released in America and globally beginning mid-April 2019.
