After over 24 years in the TTR business, DNP's Vice President of Operations Rick Crooks has announced his retirement. Rick began his career in thermal transfer with Sony Chemicals Corporation of America and was a part of the successful transition of that business during DNP's acquisition in 2008. "Even though we were the smallest Sony business here at the Technology Center, we were the ones who were able to survive and thrive," says Rick.

Rick was central to the addition of a new coater at our Mount Pleasant facility in 2013 which nearly doubled the location's coating capacity. Rick says, "It was a great win for this facility and a well-deserved recognition of the hard work and commitment to quality and service that is provided by the people in this factory."

So what does Rick plan to do with all his free time? "To be honest, I’m still figuring this out, but I hope to ride my bike more, learn to play the guitar a little better, and expand my garden a bit. I also hope to do some traveling and would particularly like to see more of the national parks."
