Throughout the year, DNP's Giving Committee at DNP
sells candy to employees for charity. The proceeds from these sales go towards organizing birthday celebrations for senior citizens in our community. It's a great way to give back and spread some joy among our elders.

Each month, we collaborate with the Westmoreland County Area Agency on Aging to offer gifts, a card, a banner, and a themed cake (generously donated by Happy Camper Cakes) to an individual in their Guardianship Program. Many of these senior citizens have no family to help them celebrate birthdays. We were so touched when we got a thank you note from the agency, "For some, these celebrations have marked their very first-ever dedicated birthday…all just for them!"

For over 50 years, the Area Agency on Aging has enhanced the lives of older adults in our community. They work to connect seniors and adults with disabilities in Pennsylvania to various benefits, services, and programs, such as activity centers, employment training, transportation services, and health insurance counseling.

We are grateful for our amazing partnership with the agency and the support of DNP employees. Their generosity and kindness help bring so much joy to the members of our community, and we couldn't be prouder of their contributions.
